Q: What time should I arrive?
A: The VIP Check-In opens at 12:00-noon and closes at 3pm. You will receive your required table credentials at Check-In, and your table number if not previously selected. The concert begins at 2pm and typically ends around 4:30pm.
Q: What should I do if the concert picnic tables appear to be sold out?
A: Some tables may be released closer to the concert date. We recommend you reach out to us to be placed on a waitlist and we will contact you if tables become available. Please email rsvp@sterngrove.org or 415-625-6006.
*This waitlist is only for table purchases.
Q: Why do you have some tables without locations for sale?
A: This allows us to fill potential gaps if other tables go unsold and gives us some flexibility. If not all tables are purchased they may not be set up and we can accommodate more general admission guests.
Q: Will you be sending tickets in the mail?
A: No, tickets will not be sent in advance. You will be contacted leading up to the concert date to confirm your attendance and will be provided with important arrival instructions for you and your guests. This year you will receive a unique code that you can share with your guests to retrieve your 10 QR codes on Eventbrite. On the day of the concert, there is a VIP Check-in to obtain guest credentials and your table assignment, if not already selected at purchase.
Q: Food and beverage provided?
A: Food and beverages are only included in the Premier Table package ($4,000), otherwise please plan to bring a picnic (alcoholic beverages are permitted) for your table or purchase food or drinks from on-site concession options.
Q: How do I reserve my table if I have already donated $2,000 or above?
A: Donations beginning October 1, 2023 can count towards the 2024 concert season. Email rsvp@sterngrove.org, or call 415-625-6006 and we will be happy to reserve your table for the concert of your choice. Do not delay, as concerts will sell out.
Q: Can I split my seats between multiple concerts?
A: No, your donation entitles you to a picnic table good for one concert.
Q: Can I reserve half a table?
A: We no longer have the option for half table reservations.
Q: Are the picnic tables ADA accessible?
A: Yes! A limited number of tables are accessible (as shown on map). Please notify us as early as possible so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
Q: What can I bring?
A: You are welcome to bring a picnic. Alcoholic beverages are permitted. New this year, you can also purchase alcoholic beverages at The Grove. Please plan to keep the park beautiful and pack out what you bring in. There will be a security check that will confiscate knives with a blade longer than 4 inches. There is also limited space available for extra items such as strollers and non-foldable wagons so please avoid bringing these items.
Q: What can I do with my recycling?
A: We will be using a new service this year. Bottle Bank will be collecting all recyclables. Please place your bottles and cans in the provided blue bags and leave them at your table. Please DO NOT CRUSH the cans.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: We love dogs, but unfortunately dogs are not permitted in this area.
Q: Is there shade?
A: Temperatures fluctuate significantly week to week and throughout the day in the Grove. While the concert meadow is fairly protected from winds, there is very little shade. Sunscreen and hats are strongly recommended as umbrellas are not allowed during the concerts.
Q: What happens to unsold tables?
A: We are experimenting with a few strategies this year and will aim to maximize table sales for the organization. As a non-profit, this is a significant source of fundraising for the Festival. We may reduce the cost of tables the week of the concert if they remain unsold.
